An all in one nappy is exactly how it sounds, all the absorbency is sewn into the shell.  What is great about these is they are easy to use, no need to think about inserts or stuffing nappies.  They can be worn, washed and thrown straight over the clothes horse to dry.  Only downside is that all in ones can take longer to dry in cooler months.
