Knight nappy FAQ's:

Why will the Knight nappy work for my baby at night time?
We have designed this nappy specially for night time use.  Microfibre is great at absorbing quickly, whereas bamboo and hemp are slower absorbers but hold a lot of liquid.  These materials together are the ulimate power couple.  There is a big pocket opening which is easy to stuff and the elastics are super soft to fit babies of all sizes without leaving nasty marks.

Do I need to use both the trifold and the booster for night times?
Most children will be okay with just the shell and the trifold as a night solution, however we have included the bamboo booster for children as they grow and go through different stages of wetting.  Heavier wetters might need both insert combos through the night.

How do I use my booster and trifold in the Knight nappy?
The booster is thin but it is mighty, fold it in 2, 3, or 4 and place it inside the pocket ontop of the trifold. The trifold can be folded in 3 or 4, the trifold folded in 4 will make the nappy thinner through the crotch area for smaller babies.

How do I care for my Knight nappy?
As night nappies are worn for more than 4 hours at a time, we suggest giving the nappies a hot rinse or prewash of a morning to avoid any amonia build up.  A 60 degree 1 hour cycle each morning, followed by a warm main wash within 3 days.  For more details please see our 'Washing Guidelines'.

How do I avoid leaks in my Knight nappy?
Ensure that you have have a comfortable fit for your baby, making sure there is no gaps around the legs and your waist isn't too tight.

Note: All nappies have prints supplied at random and print placement may vary from product image.

Love love love Knights

I use knight nappies for my 4mo old and she gets upto 14 hours out of them! Love them!

Best night nappies we've tried so far

These are the second night nappies we've tried, after the first were so bulky that my little one didn't seem to be able to get comfortable and couldn't roll over in them. We don't get a great leg seal but it doesn't matter, we haven't had any leaks with them. I think there would be room to add extra absorption if needed as well. I started with 3 and ordered 2 more so we use these full time now.

Really Pretty but so far no luck

We love the design but so far they are not absorbent enough for my 4mo girl (4 bought 4 styles of the Knight nappy). She seems to wet through them in a half night stint (approx a 5hr window overnight) which isn't ideal. Don't think we can add any more inserts at this stage to make them better as they are already so bulky on her and I think this has added to her increased reflux (as her belly and pelvis seem raised when on her back sleeping).
Will keep and try in later months in hopes that they work at some stage!

Amazing!

I finally decided to face my fear of using cloth nappies at night. We’ve used cloth during the day since newborn days, but have avoided night nappies as my 16mo isn’t the best sleeper to start with, so I definitely didn’t want to make sleep worse with leaks/uncomfortable fit/bulky nappies. We have been so impressed with the Cloth Bums Knight nappies. No leaks (even with a Dad fit!!), my toddler loves the prints and he seems comfortable. We even tried just the trifold one night without the booster and it held up really well. I can’t believe we didn’t use these night nappies sooner. I don’t have to buy disposables at all, and my wash routine is virtually the same excpet I don’t put my pre-wash on at night - I just wait until the morning to add the night nappy in first. So easy! We definitely recommend these!!

Love this knight nappy!

The design suits well for my 1 year old and 3 year old, even it is a bit bulky but it doesn’t bother my children. The knight inserts have great absorbency that I never need to worry it would leak.
