How many do I need?

How many nappies do you need to use reusable, well - if you are just starting out, all you need is one. But to use cloth nappies full-time you will need approximately 4 days worth which would be 24 nappies.

How do I get started?

We suggest kicking off your reusable nappy journey with our trial pack – the Pixie nappy trial pack. It includes three complete nappies, perfect for getting you started and experiencing the benefits firsthand.

What about the poo?

What about the poo? This is probably the main question around cloth nappies. If your baby is not yet eating solid food the poo is completely water soluble and can be put straight into the washing machine.

Once your baby has started solids you need to drop any poo into the toilet, you can also choose to use disposable liners to make this an easier process, which you can find HERE.

How do I wash?

We recommend a mainstream detergent on wash or hot to give your nappies the best clean - it isn't as complicated as it seems, read more HERE.

Do I soak cloth nappies?

This is no longer required and is essentially just a breeding ground of bacteria. Soaking nappies is not great for the PUL of the outer nappy or the elastics which are encased within the shell.
