Waterproof PUL covers that go over your inserts, preflats or flats to lock everything in. Wipe clean and reuse across several changes. You need far fewer covers than nappies. The simple, economical way to do cloth with serious leak protection.

What is a PUL cover for?

It’s the waterproof shell that goes over absorbent inserts, flats or preflats. The insert soaks up the wee, the cover keeps it off clothes and cots. Together they make a complete, leak-proof nappy.

How many covers do I need?

Far fewer than nappies. Around 6-8 for full-time. If a cover stays clean, you can wipe it out and reuse it for the next change, so a few go a long way.

Can I reuse a cover between changes?

Yes. That’s the beauty of them. If it’s only wee and the cover’s dry, wipe it down and pop a fresh insert in. Swap it out when it’s soiled or damp.

Do PUL covers fit over any insert?

They’re made to pair with our inserts, preflats and flats. Lay the absorbency in, do up the snaps snug at the legs and waist, and you’re set. Gap-free legs are what keep it leak-proof.

Are covers one size or newborn sized?

We stock both. One-size covers (Dragon) that grow on snaps, and newborn covers (Fairy) for a snug early fit. Pick based on your baby’s stage.

How do I wash PUL covers?

Wipe clean between uses, then machine wash warm with your nappies when soiled. Line dry. Avoid high heat, which shortens the life of the waterproof layer. They’ll last years with basic care.
