Night Nappies Built For 12-Hour Sleeps

Night nappies with the extra absorbency heavy wetters need to make it through to morning. No 3am changes, no soaked jammies, no stripping the cot at dawn. Serious overnight cloth nappies for babies and toddlers who sleep long and wee hard.

What makes a night nappy different from a day nappy?

Way more absorbency. Night nappies layer in extra inserts or thirstier natural fibres to hold a full night’s wee without leaking. Day nappies aren’t built for 11-12 hours. A night nappy is.

My night nappy still leaks. What am I doing wrong?

Usually it’s absorbency or fit. Add a booster if baby soaks through, and check the legs and waist are snug with no gaps for wee to escape. Natural fibres like bamboo or hemp hold more for heavy wetters than microfibre alone.

How many night nappies do I need?

Two to three is plenty. You only use one per night, so you need enough to cover wash and dry time. Night nappies are thicker, so give them extra drying time or a low tumble.

Can I use a night nappy for a heavy-wetting toddler?

Absolutely. That’s exactly who they’re for. Toddlers who flood a regular nappy overnight do best in a night nappy with a booster. Adjustable sizing means it keeps working as they grow.

Do night nappies feel bulky?

They’re a bit chunkier than a day nappy. That’s the absorbency doing its job. Under a sleep suit or jammies you won’t notice, and neither will your bub. A dry morning is worth the extra fluff.

What should I put over a night nappy?

Most of our night nappies are all-in-one or come with a waterproof layer, so nothing extra needed. If you’re using inserts with a cover, add a PUL cover on top and make sure everything’s tucked in. Snug is the goal.
