Insert Options

  1. Shell only - the shell is a waterproof cover only, use this with your existing inserts.
  2. Shell & Trifold - Available with our premium bamboo trifold, fold in 3 and put it in the pocket for a super absorbent pull up or side snapping nappy. Made larger than our standard bamboo trifold for our smaller pull-up.

  • Outer cover: Polyester and heat-bonded TPU laminate.
  • Inner cover: Athletic wicking jersery (AWJ) to help baby feel dry naturally.
  • Bamboo Trifold: 420gsm 70% Bamboo & 30% Cotton
Wash & Care

To get the best results from your nappies we recommend following these 4 simple wash steps:

  1. Dry Pail
    Remove solid poo from the nappy, separate inserts from the shell and place in your dry pail.
    (Babies not yet on solids can go straight in your dry pail).
  2. Pre-wash cycle
    Run a short wash cycle 40-60 degrees with half the normal detergent every 1-2 days. Remove from your washing machine and dry pail awaiting your main wash.
  3. Main-wash cycle
    Run a longer main wash cycle 40-60 degrees with detergent every 3-4 days.
  4. Hang to dry
    Hang nappies to dry or use a clothes dryer on low heat.

    How?

    Our Big Kids pull-ups are a two-part nappy: a waterproof shell and an absorbent bamboo insert.

    Simply place the bamboo trifold insert into the pocket of the shell for a reliable and effective nappy solution for your child.
    How many?

    The number of nappies you'll need depends on whether you're using them for daytime, nighttime, or both.

    For a 3-4 day wash period, consider how many nappies you'll require, factoring in washing and drying time. This is based on the average number you will use per day and the time taken to wash and dry over a 3 or 4 day period.

    Nighttime use?

    Each child's needs vary, but typically, the Big Kids bamboo trifold can absorb up to 300ml of liquid.

    A practical method to gauge your child's nighttime wetting is by weighing their nappy before and after the night. Simply subtract the dry weight from the wet weight to determine the output.

    If you need to add an extra booster, we suggest our hemp booster which should add an additional 100ml to the absorbency.

    NDIS?

    Absolutely! If you have a self-managed or plan-managed fund, you can opt for an invoice at checkout. Please ensure you make note of your plan number and correct name.

    This invoice can then be settled by your provider and we will send as soon as we receive payment.

    Fantastic quality and Fit, as absorbent as disposable night pull ups!

    I was despairing at the environmental impact and cost of buying night time disposable pull ups for my 5 to 6 year old. I bought these reusable nappies from Cloth Bums and am extremely pleased with them. The insert is so absorbent and with a hemp booster it's as good as a disposable pull up and much more eco friendly.
